| Vanapagan | Old Nick, mythological creature who promises to destroy the town unless White Lady marries him. |
| White Lady | legendary ghost of Haapsalu, immured into the walls of the castle alive more than 400 years ago because of the forbidden relationship. |
| Karlsson | Friend of White Lady, character from the book "Karlsson from the Roof" by Astrid Lindgren. A positive hero whose task is to help the kids during their quest. |
| Kilplane | dumb person from Estonian folk stories who has to give hints in our game. |
| Hunnius, Carl Abraham | the German doctor who discovered the usefulness of the curative mud in the 19th century. Thanks to him we Haapsalu has been a popular sea resort since 1825. |
| Ernst Enno | Estonian poet, who lived and worked in Haapsalu. His task was to help the kids. |
