The pedagogical matrix

The role of teachers in the project, is in creating simple tasks from all subjects, which has taken part in project: English, History, Informatics, Arts, Music lessons, Geography. Together we have developed a digitalize tasks enabling us to upload them in the Emapps.com platform.

Due to that very simple task such as “matching the places of Hussite battles with appropriate names” became harder, when children had to write the names in the blind map, while working with graphical editor. The task about Baroque was based on taking photos of the objects in area and the putting them PowerPoint presentation.

The answer checking could not be done effectively because of particular platform setting. Due to that reason the content of the tasks chosen by teacher (puppet master) had to be done cautiously because he was continuously watching the all outputs and based on that gave points to the teams.

The Emapps.com platform concept showed an opportunity to teach on a “large teaching field”, what is allowed by making the use of latest technology in connection with simple digital outputs – sounds, photos, movies and texts. Of course the big question is the possibility of connection of this type of learning with common learning processes. The questions are – how secure the supervision, who will take the responsibility for expensive equipment, additionally outside of school area, how to make use of teacher’s role, who have to coordinate the game process in the PC room and in terrain at the same time… We have chosen the way of task division among more teachers, but we can imagine the situation, when one teacher would keep up with everything on his own, of course with simplified game process.
