Playing the Game

Rules of the game

The game is played in the historical center of Ljubljana. The students are divided in two groups, one to stay in school, and one to play in the field. The group to remain in school act as a sort of an interface between the ??puppet master?? and the students playing in the field. Both groups use the emapps interface to upload material.

The group in the field is equipped with cell phones, for uploading, a gps device for orientation, and a photo camera for media documents. Each group also has a teacher supervisor (the ??puppet master and a teacher in the field). All data was uploaded to the platform, by the field group (and in some cases the school group), sorted by the school group and finally graded by the teacher. The game is divided into 7 levels, which can be played in a single day.

Every level was graded individually, with 5 possible points. The score was influenced by time, spent for each level, correctness of uploaded material, etc. negative points were also an option if the students would try to cheat.
