The Tallinn Secondary School No 32 is situated in the capital city of the Republic of Estonia - Tallinn. This year we are celebrating our 35th anniversary. Today we have 884 students and 80 teachers.
The Tallinn Secondary School No 32 is an open educational establishment for all applicants. Our aim is to offer as many teachers and students as possible the chance to move to the highest level of self-accomplishment in their understandings and aspirations. Our mission is to form an ethical person who can cope in life, and who would be a lifelong learner.
Our students start learning English in the elementary school and when they reach to the main school the Russian language is added. In the main school all our students can opt for computer studies and French.
In the secondary school students can choose between six specialised areas - history-legal studies, social economy, IT, theatre studies, mathematics and the sciences and languages. German and French are also taught in the secondary school.
In the upper level the school year is divided into five periods and subject plans have mostly been divided into 35-lesson courses. Lessons of sport take place with regular load per week all through the school year.
We are also known for our strong traditions- the annual history conference, solo artists’ singing competition „Shout” and organising a poetry recital competition where the participants come from all over Tallinn. Our successful choir singers, young artists and sports people are also well known.
Our student self-government’s work is very efficient. The teachers and students are keen to cooperate with other schools and are participating in international projects.
In Estonia the Tallinn Secondary School No 32 stands out as a student friendly school with a positive atmosphere.
Lessons in the school level take place in the form of subject teaching. The school year is divided into four quarters.
