Conclusion
In Tallinn we had two games – one in October and other in April. In second game we decided not to use students in classroom. Reason we decided so is not about skills or abilities of students.
In general they managed well and they are quite able to guide teams etc. Reason is something else. For example in Tallinn we have game place about 7 km away from school building. And computer lab is in school building.
Unfortunately we do not have so many laptops in school(s) that we can carry these into the game place. Only choice is to leave about 10 students in school and take other 50-60 to the game place.
Game we had in last October showed that students in classroom:
* are not very happy (other students have "fun" outside)
* are not very busy (finding points etc. outside takes lot of time for others)
* will loose concentration (internet with it´s temptations is little step away)
- In general students where very good about using devices. Problem is that these devices are already falling apart, especially phones.
- In general game works, at least some parts (chat, uploading photos, levels etc.). But for comfortable game we still need a platform which is made for ordinary human beings, especially admin part of it.
- Museum people are interested and they are ready to proceed with such kind of activities (services).
- Students are happy.
- Teachers are happy too but it´s not very much connected with real learning. They see that they can offer some alternation for students.
- Parents are happy too, they see that something different and interesting happens for a change.
